Early one morning this past week or so, early morning fog. We waited while a few cars loaded and the barge to pass by in the dense early fog. Marvin was talking to the Pilot and he noticed I was taking a picture, Marvin stops in where I work and is a nice fellow. So is the pilot, he is kind of new, always fun to ride the ferry, except in the rain.
He looks a bit like Roger Daltry
ReplyDeleteNow that you mention it he does kind look like Roger. Nice guy, the new pilot taking the place of the man who knew the river. Lived and worked on it for 95 years, and still going.
